The Golden Years
I am sure this term has crossed your lips or mind sometime since you started working and paying taxes. Each of us has a plan (at least we should have) on how we'll spend our time once we get to retire. I don't know one person currently living in a nursing home who planned to spend their Golden Years lying in a bed with a feeding tube in the stomach and a catheter in the bladder, having to be lifted in and out of a chair. Watching from behind dull eyes while the spouse struggles to maintain the life they always had and quietly puts away the shared dreams of those Golden Years.
Sadness, anger, loneliness, frustration, panic, guilt, even hatred are the natural responses for both a patient and a spouse in these times.
Financial devastation does not have to be part of this equation.
Everything you worked so hard for does not have to go to paying years worth of Medi-cal Bills.
If this spouse were aware that the lifestyle they planned for can be kept intact, the dreams would not have to die and the couple could begin to adjust in an overall more healthy manner.
NHS, LLC is the answer to at least the financial burden they face. We help clients obtain Long-Term Care Medi-cal and Long-Term Care Nursing Care for life. With trained professionals, from care managers and social workers, NHS handles all the needs, leaving the family and spouse to offer the love and support needed for recovery. With dreams intact just modified, miracles do happen and people do recover to the point they are able to return home.
NHS makes it possible to have a home to return to.
